Dhruv Kohli — Architect + Designer / Tokyo + New Delhi
Dhruv Kohli is an Indian-born architect & computational designer based in Tokyo with previous experiences in Paris & New Delhi. He has worked and practiced with Van der Architects, Nicolas Laisne Architectes, Sou Fujimoto Architects, Kengo Kuma & Associates on a diverse typologies of projects ranging from urban scale Airport terminals, Hotels, Residential towers, Corporate offices to small scale Furnitures and Art installations, across various regions of Japan, China, India, & Europe.
With a strong emphasis onnatural forces, contextual regionalities, & spatial experiences, Kohli is probing a curious investigation of theoretical thinking towards enabling architecture as a catalyst to social changes while containing the cultural heterogeneities amidst the rapid urbanization/de-urbanization, through indigenous knowledge of space, construction, and collective identity of the community.
